1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and VetAngle Solutions Ltd ("VetAngle", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using our Platform, creating an account, or booking any veterinary services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, the following expressions have the meanings assigned to them:

| "Farmer" | A User who registers on the Platform to seek veterinary services for their livestock or poultry. |
| "Consultation" | A veterinary appointment booked through the Platform, whether conducted via video call, home visit, or farm visit. |
| "Content" | All text, graphics, images, logos, software, and other materials available on the Platform. |
| "NDPA" | The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, as amended from time to time. |
| "GDPR" | The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as amended from time to time. |
3. Services Description
VetAngle Solutions operates a technology platform that connects pet owners, livestock farmers, and other animal caretakers with licensed veterinary professionals across Nigeria. Our Services include:
Video Consultation
Connect with a licensed veterinarian via secure video call for remote diagnosis, prescriptions, and medical advice starting from ₦2,000.
Home Visit
Book a licensed vet to visit your home for in-person examinations, vaccinations, and treatments for your pets starting from ₦20,000.
Farm Visit
Schedule specialised veterinary care for livestock and poultry at your farm, including herd health management, starting from ₦50,000.
VetAngle acts as an intermediary platform facilitating the connection between Users and Veterinary Professionals. We do not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment directly. All veterinary services are provided by independently licensed Veterinary Professionals through our Platform.
4. User Accounts & Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create a user account. During registration, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated at all times.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@vetanglesolutions.com of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
- Not create multiple accounts or use another person's account without their explicit permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to contain false, inaccurate, or incomplete information, or that have been compromised by unauthorised access.
5. User Types & Eligibility
5.1 Pet Owners & Farmers
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our Services. By registering, you represent that you are the lawful owner or caretaker of the animals for which you are seeking veterinary care, or that you have been authorised by the owner to act on their behalf.
5.2 Veterinary Professionals
Veterinary Professionals registering on our Platform must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid and current veterinary licence issued by the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) or an equivalent recognised regulatory body.
- Provide proof of professional qualifications, including degree certificates and licence registration numbers.
- Maintain current professional indemnity insurance as required by Nigerian law.
- Comply with all applicable veterinary practice regulations and ethical standards.
- Undergo our verification process, which may include background checks and credential verification.
We reserve the right to refuse or remove any Veterinary Professional from the Platform who fails to meet these requirements or whose professional licence has been suspended, revoked, or restricted.
6. Service Booking & Cancellations
6.1 Booking Process
When you book a Service through the Platform, you are entering into a service agreement with the assigned Veterinary Professional, not directly with VetAngle. We facilitate the booking, payment processing, and communication but are not a party to the service agreement.
6.2 Cancellation Policy

6.3 Rescheduling
You may reschedule an appointment at no additional cost up to 12 hours before the scheduled time, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the appointment are treated as cancellations under the policy above.
6.4 No-Shows
If you fail to attend a scheduled video consultation without cancelling, or are unavailable at the scheduled location for a home or farm visit, you will not be entitled to any refund.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Pricing
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, though changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the original price.
7.2 Payment Processing
- Payment is processed at the time of booking through our secure third-party payment providers.
- We accept bank transfers, debit cards, credit cards, and mobile money as supported by our payment partners.
- VetAngle does not store full card details on its servers. Payment information is handled in compliance with PCI-DSS standards by our payment partners.
7.3 Refunds
Refunds are processed in accordance with our cancellation policy (Section 6). Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution. Refund processing times are beyond our control and may vary.
7.4 Veterinary Professional Payments
Veterinary Professionals receive payment for completed services minus VetAngle's platform service fee. Payment schedules and fee structures are governed by separate Veterinary Professional agreements.
8. Veterinary Consultations
Important Disclaimer
VetAngle is a technology platform that connects Users with licensed Veterinary Professionals. We do not provide veterinary medical services, advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All veterinary services are provided by independently licensed Veterinary Professionals who are solely responsible for the clinical care they deliver.
8.1 Telemedicine Limitations
Video consultations have inherent limitations compared to in-person examinations. Veterinary Professionals may not be able to fully diagnose, treat, or prescribe medication for certain conditions via telemedicine. In such cases, the Veterinary Professional may recommend an in-person visit.
8.2 Emergency Situations
Our Platform is not a substitute for emergency veterinary care. If your animal is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please contact your nearest veterinary emergency clinic immediately.
8.3 Prescriptions
Any prescriptions issued by Veterinary Professionals through the Platform are at the sole discretion and professional judgement of the Veterinary Professional. VetAngle does not influence, guarantee, or take responsibility for prescribed treatments or medications.
8.4 Records
Consultation records, including video recordings, chat transcripts, and medical notes, are maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable regulatory requirements. Veterinary Professionals are responsible for maintaining clinical records in compliance with Veterinary Council of Nigeria standards.
9. User Conduct
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Nigerian or international laws.
- Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information about yourself or your animals.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your qualifications or identity.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate Veterinary Professionals, other Users, or VetAngle staff.
- Attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system, including soliciting direct payments to bypass our booking process.
- Share content that is obscene, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scraping tools to access or collect data from the Platform without our written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform's software.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 VetAngle Property
All Content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and their compilation, is the property of VetAngle Solutions Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
10.2 Limited License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform and its Content for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with booking and receiving veterinary services. This licence does not include the right to:
- Modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content.
- Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods on the Platform.
- Download or copy any Content for the benefit of a third party.
- Use the VetAngle name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.
10.3 User Content
By submitting content to the Platform (such as reviews, feedback, or animal photos), you grant VetAngle a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. You represent that you own or have the right to submit such content.
11. Limitation of Liability
Key Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VetAngle Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11.1 Platform Provided "As Is"
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11.2 No Liability for Veterinary Services
VetAngle acts solely as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of veterinary services provided by Veterinary Professionals. Any disputes regarding veterinary care are between you and the Veterinary Professional.
11.3 Maximum Liability
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount you paid to VetAngle in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
11.4 Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party services and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of such services.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VetAngle Solutions Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
- Your violation of these Terms of Service.
- Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
- Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or proprietary rights.
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform.
- Any fraudulent, negligent, or wilful misconduct on your part.
This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your account and these Terms. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defence of any matter subject to indemnification, and you shall not settle any such matter without our prior written consent.
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@vetanglesolutions.com or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Outstanding bookings will be handled in accordance with our cancellation policy (Section 6).
13.2 Termination by VetAngle
We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms.
- We reasonably believe your account has been compromised or used for fraudulent activity.
- You engage in conduct that is harmful to other Users, Veterinary Professionals, or the Platform.
- For Veterinary Professionals, your professional licence is suspended, revoked, or restricted.
- Required by law, regulation, or order of a competent authority.
13.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive shall remain in effect, including but not limited to Sections 10 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 14 (Dispute Resolution).
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For Users within the European Economic Area, the GDPR provides additional protections as described in our Privacy Policy.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@vetanglesolutions.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice. If the dispute is not resolved within this period, either party may proceed with formal resolution.
14.3 Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004). The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement or, failing agreement, by the Lagos Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (LRCICA).
14.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria, for matters involving intellectual property infringement, breach of confidentiality, or imminent irreparable harm.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date.
- Notify registered Users via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
- For changes that fundamentally alter the nature of the service, obtain your explicit consent where required by applicable law.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account termination in accordance with Section 13.
